| A) What matters is that I published it. It's the author's behavior which is definitive, not that of the receipient. For instance, if I publish a false and defamatory statement about a blind man and someone reads it to him---it's still libel.
B) I said a clock, not your clock.

| Still doesn't flow the same... I could pull off "LIES AND DEFAMATION!!!" but not "LIES AND LIBEL!!!". They sound too similar for that.
Even if I met you in person, I still wouldn't be able to correctly use "LIES AND SLANDER!!!" since you still typed it.

| Libel also has a very hard sounding break between syllables, while slander doesn't. Defamation has many syllables, but that's what makes it flow. I found a bunny once in Houston.
