the thing with the sword being swept out of the moat was a way of introducing a Red Herring into the plot! The idea is that the real sword is "out-there" and when they stumble upon the one that was swept out into the forest, covered with moss and etc, they'll fuss and wonder if it's the real sword, because someone else will find another good sword somewhere else!

I see that i'm more into action -plot development and you're into character development! but that's goooooood.

Very impressive. Theres is a lot of talent here in Fantasy Land. I sincerely hope that some of you will seek and follow personal quest in writing. We have our on professional on board(Moonitic) that can help and i believe she will if you ask.

Who me? I'm just a "hack"...lol

But I suppose anyone who has been writing for 20 years (my first published work at 8, thank you), numerous contents & quite a bit of web writing could be called a "hack".

But I do have a deep love for writing, & a great respect for anyone who wants to give it a go. It's not easy, it's not always fun...but it's incredibly rewarding (& I'm not just talking money).
