Cleaning the TCA Ultralite Sabre Lame Armourers I need your help on this one. The lame was starting to stink a little after a week of use. And according to TCA I am only supposed to use cold water to wash it, as it is conductive through a chemical application. I was told that any chemical would make the lame dead as a door nail.
As soon as some water hit the lame, it started to stink extremely bad as though I was hold Robert Reed's old santelli kit.

Key to washing the lame. I own two of their ultralights.
1: Clean out your sink and close the drain. Fill up with lukewarm water.
The water will slightly brown. That's the salt in your sweat pouring out of the lame. Do not wring!! Rather press gently in the water and knead it very gently until youve gone thru the whole fabric.
Drain and repeat one more time.
You can also take a hot shower with your lame on and the stink will come right out.

PS: I like to use the adjustable showerhead to spray the lame too. not too hard though. Similar Threads -
