I don't know all of the people involved in the recall effort. I do know some of the people that signed the letter here (
http://www.geocities.com/save_usfencing/letter.htm). The ones that I know are good people with only the best interests of US fencing behind their efforts. In hindsight, I think it is obvious that, regardless of some of the people's motivations, a recall would have been better than letting the problems at USFA to continue to accumulate to the point they got to by the end of the previous administration.
