Array What the heck is a "worthy lady" i try to help everyone, even the evil demons who walk into my office every day http://www.fencing.net/forum/smile.gif, a good knight or king helps all in spite of everything. It's like being a nurse: you must nurse with no thought of compensation, and without any other judgement. http://www.fencing.net/forum/rolleyes.gif

Chivalry...ah yes. To be honorable, especially towards the fairer sex...
Why is it we pursue this? Is it that ladies NEED our pathetic cro-magnon attempts at civility? I doubt it. Is it because they deserve better treatment than men? (Well, probably). Most likely any system of chivalry or courtly behavior evolved so we men would have some official reason to behave ourselves... Anyways, if it keeps the ladies entertained, why not? *sigh*
To quote Ambrose Bierce, "Here's to women. Would that we could fall into their arms without falling into their hands."
