| Hello from Ball State 7 (going on 8) year veteran of the Ball State Fencing Club, and new to the Fencing.net forums here just saying hello.
I have been fencing foil and epee for 7 years now with epee being my primary weapon of choice. Two years ago I finally decided to join the dark side the force and picked up a sabre. I have been teaching the beginner foil, beginner epee, advanced foil, and advanced epee classes at Ball State for the past three years, served as assistant club coach for the 2007-2008 season, and this coming school year (2008-2009) will be taking over as the club coach. I have my E2008 in both Foil and Epee but am currently unrated in Sabre.
My asspirations of being a fencer is to one day open my own salle in my home town and offer fencing lessons to the general public as well as earn my USFA coach certification and become a fencing master. |

| Bonjour! I'm a fellow, college club fencer (and clearly a French and International Studies major)! I've clearly posted on the other thread you have about your club drama woes, but thought it might be nice to officially say hi! I'm new to the forums too.

| Hey, I got my very first intro to fencing with the BSU FC, I was attending the Indiana Academy and living on campus.
It wasn't a particularly good training environment, but must have sparked something; I'm a professional fencing coach, and the current Div1-A Women's Epee national champion also was a club member.
