    The segment shows Ann giving it a go with Daria Schneider (?) while Mariel instructed. It was longer than I thought it would be.

    I think it is a great TV spot. Anything to increase interest in fencing. It is especially good for attracting young women to fencing. Most of the questions I have received lately about fencing have been from mothers with young daughters...interested in fencing.

    I got home from work just in time to catch it.

    It was of course horrible, but as MdA said any press that's not actively negative is positive...

    "Where do I aim the point?" should have been corrected, and the lame and jacket should have been done up to the collar rather than left open, but it was a brief spot and the interviewer always controls things anyway.

    Well, let's get people fencing first and then we can worry about whether their lame is zipped up.

    I'm also wondering if a clip mic might've been why they didn't do that.

    I liked the part where she told Daria "come at me!" and WHACK.
