    Interesting fencers? Celebs everywhere

I came across this interesting piece of news when trawling around the news outlets of the world:

Hollywood makes for such strange mixes of people.

    Trolling?

So you were sending news outlets deliberate inflammatory comments in order to solicit a response?

I will write on the board 100 times: trawling is good, trolling is bad.

    Good lad! ha ha.

I am not sure, from my perspective, that the like His Scientologyness is a celeb I would like to see associated with the sport.

You hear the occasional story about this or that celeb being intetrested in our sport and then... nothing more.

What if someone says the more correct "Xenu was a sabreur" or "Xenu was a sabre fencer"?

Supposedly Ralph Fiennes got really into sabre during his prep for Sunshine. (The fencing sequences in that movie were pretty awesome.) Wonder whether he kept with the sport.

    Two

Dirk Nowitzki of the NBA's Dallas Mavericks has fenced over in europe, his basketball coach over there made him pick it up to improve his footwork on the court. Also actor Jerry O'Connell from the TV shows Sliders and Crossing Jordan credits fencing for building his confidence when he was younger and helping him loose weight.

Loosing weight doesn't sound very comfortable. Did the fat jiggle around a lot more after he started doing serious footwork? I bet he would have much preferred to lose the weight entirely.
