    The weary traveller's story

The castle's strange female guest rose in the late hours of the morning, when the sun had reached it's zenith in the sky. She dressed in the garmets provided for her - a silky white hooded robe, with a hem that brushed the floor. She let her hair - which, having been washed and brushed, cascaded down her back in auburn rivulets.
Feeling much stronger after her long night's sleep, she opened the stained glass window, and looked out on the magnificent kingdom.
The busy streets were full of fantastic creatures and people in fine wear. On the corner of one street, she saw a pub, it's sign reading "The Bitter End".
"I must go there some evening," she mused to herself. "Surely I will meet interesting people, perhaps even someone who can help me on my quest."
And so she waited for the royal summoning to the royal throne room, when she knew she would be asked to explain her prescence to the Arconians.

After waiting for hours, and recieving no summons, she decided to risk the hospitality of her royal hosts, and left the bed chamber alone.
She couldn't remember how to get back to the ballroom, as she had been very tired the night before. Wandering the empty halls, she strained her ears for the sound of music. After much time, during which she began to wonder if the palace was enchanted, for every room seemed to lead her back to the gardens, but perhaps the gardens stretched around the perimeter of the palace - she couldn't make sense of the layout, for when she thought she was getting towards the center of the castle, through a window she would glimpse another rosebush and a sun filled sky.
Finally, she heared a commotion, and peeked through a door. In the ballroom the king and his guests were engaged in an argument about the existance of chivalry. The king was quite defensive, but the queen was stubbornly insisting that chivalry was dead.
"Have they been at this all night?" She wondered. It occured to her that time does not flow equally in all parts of the universe, and there are frequent discrepancies between the land of dreams and that of reality. Further considering that she is in a fantasy, the fluctuations in time were entirely more likely. It was therefore possible that her evening of sleep had sped by while the revelers had only experience a few moments of conversation.
Taking a deep breath, she shoved the door open and entered the room.
Approaching the queen, she curtsied, and said
"Salutations, fair queen, thank you for your hospitality. I am known in my realm as Lady Jane. My father, a brave knight in service to the King of Loqual, had traditional 16th century ideas about a woman's place in society. Being that this is not mideaval europe (what it is then, I dont know - but who cares, right, its fantasy, we go all over the time-space continuumf) Being as it is, I ran away from the convent he sold me to, and found in the forest a mentor in an old witch named Madeline. I have been living in her hut for seven winters, learning the magiks and harmonies from her, and undergoing training in the art of the sword.
Two nights ago, having prepared me sufficiently, she says, it is my time to find a useful place for myself in the grand wide world. Beginning... as her Ingrediants Fetcher. So here I am on my first quest, for the Water of Life."
Lady Jane gave the royal guests a hopeful grin.

Arcon took the hand of Ladyjane, gently he raised it to his lips. As he lowered her hand he looked up with his grinning smile...winked and said . "Chivalry is not dead my-lady."

Lady Jane blushed at the addressal of the king, but bowed her head graciously.
"Thank you, your majesty." she said, accepting the queen's offer. "I hope Willow can help. I do know a little of the whereabouts of the water - only what my mentor, Madeline told me before I left.
She said that it's source was guarded by Darklad - an evil socerer in a far kingdom, but I know nothing more than that."

are you sure you're not jane seymour? by the way did anyone see jane seymour in "lady" chatterly's lover?(s), it was the grossest thing i have ever seen, jane seymour, rolling around in the mud with some actor supposed to be the gardener completely undressed - i have no idea when or who made the thing, but sort of funny, the dialogue was a joke, it was so stilted -

Sorry lady jane, go back in and continue the story, i was just interjecting, continue please.
