Amercia's Best Dance Crew

Just curious if anyone watches? I liked the first season, caught up at the Thriller episode and loved it from there on out.

Any one have any early ideas about season 2 and who might take the title?

Season 2: Will be another Cali crew. I go with the cats that took out the JabbaWockeez in a head to head battle: Supreme Soul. Unless their cockiness just kills them one week they're the ones to beat. Not far behind will be Super Crew; one slip up and from Supreme Soul and it's a wrap. SoReal Cru will make a run as will Phresh Select. The only other crew from the east to watch are the Boogie Bots. The one girl in SassX7 that's still single should come holler at me b/c we'd make babies that would be all kinds of gorgeous. Extreme Dance Force is entertaining as is A.S.I.I.D. They're not going to eliminate the squad with the deaf guy b/c everyone likes him and they need at least one female crew to make it through...hence SassX7 will likely be the first ones to go b/c there's still the group from TX that everyones considers a girl group b/c its guys are absolutely "fabulous".



Oh...the elimination of Team Millenia hurt my heart a little bit. They would have been one of the top squads this season.

Likely that SS are the early favorites but I think the Boogie Bots have a real shot.

The problem this year is there is a clear top 4 where last year there was jaba and everyone else. SS, Bots, SoReal and Super Cru will make a nice final 4. Everyone else is just there.

I am surprised Full Effect was bounced though.

I think Kaba Modern had a legitimate shot last year. I'd say the winner was decided in the Jabbawockeez/Kaba Modern dance off. Lord knows Status Quo didn't deserve to make it to the finals; their **** was so sloppy.

I just hope they don't keep an inferior female squad on long after they should be cut like Fysh n Chicks. God, they were terrible.

I was trying to figure out why SQ was around so long but never could. When it was down to 5 they were definately not on the class of the others.

Seems as though last season each crew was saved from elimination when they could bring one huge moment, fish with the girl who could tap, breakskate with the ticking whatever that was(pretty cool but very weird), even jaba when raynan spun on his head for about 30 minutes to knock out kaba. I guess the judges are affected by huge 'pops' not less by overall ability.

Wow, seems as though the judges are not going to let two of the better groups go through without knowing they need to get their act together. I do agree with the statement, at least for last night, the top 5 should have been the bottom 5 and vice versa. But, one of the all girl groups gets bounced, I guess Sass is next.

While I disagree with some of the discussion of last season, I think discussion of this season is more pertinent. I don't know that the positions should have actually been reversed but certainly some of the selections were clearly whacked. I blame America...

Distorted X and Fanny Pak did not belong in the bottom two. SassX7 probably belonged in the bottom two but the judges are also kind of out hypocritical and mostly annoying. How do you tell SoReal that they're clearly top 2 but then turn around to say they should have been bottom 5? How do you praise and slow-mo a flip from one crew and then use a similar flip to tell Sass that they're too much like a cheerleading squad? I need everyone making decisions for this show to do better, especially the judges.

The top 5 bottom 5 switch comment was more of a generallity made by lil mama, as a reaction to the frist 2 tops crews who they didn't like at all.

I do agree with the judges about sass, if they don't want to be considered a cheerleading crew they need to stay away from the cheerleading moves. I suspect they will be bottom 2 next week and will survive if they come with a dance routine instead of, in the judges eyes, a cheer routine.

ASIID really came with something good, I was surprised. They definately had the most creative routine and likely impressed the judges the most.

I suspect Fanny Pack will be in the bottom 2 next week even though one could argue they probably shouldn't be.

I personally thought the dancing ninja thing wearing 'masks' would be coat tailing jabba too much and might have hurt them but I guess the hoods they wore covered them enough.

Twas an ill advised generality backed up by other judges at various points. By and large the judges are idiots - we're lucky that between the 3 of them something worthwhile usually gets said. Also worth noting is that they thought the first crew, SoReal was instant "top 2" when they looked in their crystal balls. Critiques were wildly inconsistent (e.g. SoReal used no more of the stage than any other crew accused of not using the stage and sometimes used less). Also, Fanny Pak didn't do the ninja thing and almost certainly won't be bottom of anything since the judges expressly told thr audience it screwed up for putting them there this week (plus they killed their routine). I think the ninjas was Super Crew.

First off, I know fanny pack was the ninja crew and never said they were.

I do agree about the judges and their comments but it seems they want different things from different groups, this may be the reason for their comment be contradictory. Remember last season, they asked different crews for different aspects of dance when they had the challenges and no two groups were asked to do the same challenge.

It wouldn't surprise me if they brought in some different forms as challenges if for no other reason to see how good these groups are as dancers across the board not just hip hop style, refernce the broadway challenge. Quick thought on that, it was utterly ridiculous to give 5 guys on skates the dream girls challenge. I do wonder if they will have any of these groups do a Thriller challenge, I hope so.

Status Quo dances sketchy. They didn't deserve to be in the final 2 with Jabbawockeez. Supreme Soul is "alright" but not as good as Jabbawockeez. SoReal Crue is pretty good. I don't like Fanny Pack at all.

Curious who any of you thought would get eliminated this week? I suspect Sass X7 will up for elimination, not sure who else.

Also, what other dance styles will they throw in this time around? Last time they did broadway, curious if anyone knew or had an idea what they would throw in this time?

I'm glad that a group of heads that are truly repping bboy culture are finally on the show. My vote every week will go to Supercrew. I've been watching these guys for years, they're capable of so much more than their "ninja" routine.

Christyle from Jabbawockeez is also in Supercrew, but couldn't compete on the show again for obvious reasons.

Well, SassX7 is gone after completely smashing the bots. I guess I have to conceed and go with the other folks who question the judges and how they are doing things. They definately were not the cheer crew they had been billed to be and blasted out a great routine.

Supreme Soul finally decided to show up and give us a glimpse of how/why they beat jabba.

Phresh Select and Super Crew seem to be doing great and Fanny Pack may be the dark horse in this whole thing. From bottom 2 to top 2 in the voting.

This week should be very good.
