Depending on where you are, you may need to look for clubs in the St. Louis or KY division in order to find a club.

| I live in McLeansboro, St.Louis is a 2 hour drive for me so that not really a option. Any where is KY is about the same thats why I was hoping I could find someone on here that needed a training partner or something. If not I will buy the DVD's and do it on my own : ) |

| Sounds like you are going to be practicing point control on corn stalks alone for a while... |

| Work sends me to Salem IL rarely. But would be next to impossible to bring fencing gear with me. There use to be a club in Evansville, and I was speaking with a student from IU recently that said the club is still there. They met in a martial arts school. I dont remember the name, its been many years. Maybe this is them, they show fencing on the schedule http://risingphoenixacademy.com/schedule

Dave | Yea, recommending for someone to look in KY for a club is practically useless... The only clubs that aren't college clubs are either in Louisville, Lexington or Murray. All of which would be farther for him than St. Louis.

| Actually, there's a club openning up in O'Fallon, Illinois, which is just south of me. I know that's close to St. Louis, but just getting to the club I go to in St. Louis from Troy (that is, driving through St. Louis itself to get to the club) takes nearly an hour in and of itself. O'Fallon would be much more direct for you, I think, it may be worth considering. The coach there used to coach NCAA and according to him produced quite a few successful fencers. I just talked to him last night, when he showed up at my club. He's supposed to be putting up a website soon, so when I get that, I will post it here.

| There's a good club in Urbana/Champaign called 'The Point.' Some really nice people there.
I believe there's also a club in Peoria, or maybe its Bloomington. I can't remember. |

| I can confirm that a new club is starting up in O'Fallon. I used to coach there and I agree it is easier than driving into St. Louis. I can send you a phone number for the coach if you are interested. He is an experienced fencer and a certified USFCA coach.
