Working together

Quick question

If the some members from one slate get elected and others from the opposing party as well, will they be able to work together? This could be very interesting indeed but no one has mention the possiblity yet.

Speculations, jabbs, thoughts and comments are always hoped for

A far more interesting question (to me): How will the elected members work with the Board?

One suspects that after the politic'ing they'll get down to work. I think the NomCom slate was selected by a third party and didn't come as a package. Or so it has been claimed.

Hmm? I'm not clear what you're saying. Third party as in some Shadowy Hand individual? Or third party as in a bunch of people with pizza and soda in a hotel room?

Anyway, the slate was chosen from the people who submitted their names to the committee to be considered for nomination, which does tend to limit the field to people who are already interested. The alternate slate excepting Dr. Hurley did not submit their names, which further limited the choice and also suggested they weren't interested at the time.

I would assume that whoever is elected will work with whoever else is elected, because otherwise they won't get much done.
