thanks my ole friend and others

Id like to thank my good friend
whos comment about something i said one night over a few
beers among the company of fellow
fencers became the inspiration behind
the creation of this thread. You know
who you are. I would also like to thank
and honor the first Arkon from many
years ago who taught me the respect
for and all he knew of the Art of Swordplay.
You also know who you are...although im
not sure you'll ever check in with our
little
fantasy world here. In my travels of
late it was good to see you again and to
exchange a few tales and to catch up.
I can still here your laugh when i told
you id used your name as my father in an
old thread.

Let me also thank our present members for
their continued partisipation. We have
some new writers that have joined us
recently. My thanks to you also.

I would also like to say im sorry that I havent
been that active recently. I hopeing now that
this will change. I think we all have a little
talent for this(writing)but their are many of you
that are very good. I cant hold a candle to what
you can do. I cant even spell correctly most of the time. The senior members know this very well
Im just very pleased that some of you find the time to do this and i hope that in some way it can
inspire some of you to develope your talent.
Its a pleasure to do this with you and be a part
of fantasyland. p.s. thanks Craig

thanks, Arcon of Arconia

One day.......Carpon discovered the very sword he was looking for. It was a foieppe, a weapon designed with a foil blade, an eppe bell, and a wire that clicked into the weapon, breaking at most, once a year. He called Arcon and Mango, and Kitty to his salle. "dear friends: I have discovered the weapon of choice. I want to present each of you with one to fence with soley for one year, and report your findings."

The concert idea.

Hmm.. Giving this one a little thought.

Cannibal corpse could open with some soft ballads such as Force-fed broken glass or Skull Full of Maggots.

Then for the ravey-daveys out there, perhaps some dance music/ drum and bass or whatever they call it for ten minutes,

and back to the good stuff
Something for the classic rockers with some Metallica or Maiden.

Something for the younglings?
Kelly Osbourne or Avril Lavinge?

Metallica have a go for a bit.

then the headliner:
Ozzy Osbourne,

That covers a fair bit. I'd go just to see Corpse again.

This isn't real, is it? lol

What the devil are you on about?? Who said anything about a concert??

(However, while we're on the subject, I think some Barry Manilow would be nice...and maybe some Carpenters and Dan Fogelberg...and don't forget John Denver! Throw in a little Dave Matthews, and you've got a real concert...)

Oh, and by the way...nice to hear from you again, Steve!

I thought I read a couple of pages back about a concert. Man am I on form tonight? lol

Good to be back, Loch. Any ideas where I can catch up on the goings on?
