I, Baron Rick, have been forced to flee my country due to a rebellion by insurgents demanding an end to my monarchy with the installation of a from of government with three branches (Executive, Legislative, and Judicial), with leaders elected from within common societal folk.
I humbly approach you and request political asylum, as I regroup with my loyal subjects, and allow my elite army of foil fencers to recuperate, heal, and do some footwork.
In return for your generosity, I promise an allegiance to your throne, rule of 35% of my country (once I get it back), plus free hardware, software, and installation of state of the art security systems (with 1 year, 24 hour, monitoring service owned and operated by former law enforcement officials) -- this way, you wouldn't have to triple your palacial security detail. I also hold some interest in a Car Dealership downtown... could get you a good deal...
I pray, mighty King Arcon, that you accept me and provide needed shelter in your kingdom.

baron Rick, I have considered your propsal. It is acceptable to both the King and I. My only stipulation is that when regaining your kingdom there is minimal bloodshed, and negotiation is attempted before an all out attack is launched.
Ok, now for my questions...
1. Is the security system a motion or heat detector setup?
2. Does it have @ home security?
3. What sort of car dealership are we talking here? Sports or station wagon?

Well, the security system consists of a bunch of electronic eyes and thermo-sensitive aparati, we can custom fit your palace with state of the art, almost invisible, equipment complete with dobermans, the @ home service is a little shaky since their system was infected with a computer virus (no doubt a tactic of my adversary)... I may have to withdraw the car dealership discounts... as of 0400hrs today, it is now in the hands of the rebels. My escape is being compromised as my enemy's elite strike force has taken to using those zippy European sports cars (from the dealership) to close ground on my entourage... I have tried leaving the highways and using the wilderness' rough terrain... but the spies I left behind enemy lines have radioed in to inform me that enemy forces on SUVs and ATVs (also from the dealership) are now on my tail...
I pray that I can reach your borders in time.

Since my safety is now in the hands of a higher power, I must inform you of shocking news before it is too late... the rebellion against me is a complex conspiracy by one of your subjects and the People's Fencing Front terrorist group... their plan was to take over my country and use it as a strategic point to invade Arconia. The traitor's code name is Revef Ognam... many of my spies sacrificed their lives to get this information to me in hopes that I can give you word of it... so you can "cut off the head of the snake", so to speak...

Bugger, that news just ruined a half way decent Friday afternoon. I must go consult with my advisors. Baron Rick, as soon as you reach our borders please send word by carrier pidgeon and I will send a retinue out to accompany you to the palace.

Baron Rick when youve reached the border it might be best if we send the Palace Helicopter after you and your Generals.
Upon arrival have them meet with Attila and my generals in the "War Room". Have Zelda escort you to my study where we will entertain a bottle of Brandy while you tell me of your travels,adventures and this plot against your country and Arconia.
Together we will formulate an alliance and drive the enemy into the sea.
By the way , do you deal in Mercedes?
I think Zelda would look so good in one.

Im very curious as to identity of this subject from my Kingdom who plots against us.

King Arcon and Queen Zelda:

I estimate to be about 200 kilometers from your border. However, my plight has been put to a halt as my forces have been ambushed by the People's Fencing Front. It was a bloody battle with many casualties.

I was able to see some action as I led my outnumbered foil army into the teeth of my opponent's line. I got hit a few times by unfriendly foils, but most were off-target, so they didn't count. Several of my opponents hit target area, but since I always established the right of way first -- they're the ones who were befallen.

Most of our bouts kept getting delayed as, in most cases, the director would get hit by a stray arrow from somewhere, and either he'd need need a few minutes to recover, or we'd have to run to the next town to find a new director... which wasn't all that bad, it gave us some time to grab some beers, cognac, exchange phone numbers, etc...

One of the girls I fenced actually lived a couple of blocks away from me... too bad I had to kill her, she was a hottie (and still single).

Sorry for the Tangent there...

Anyway... We were able to overcome the foe, and momentarily held one of them prisoner (the last opponent standing)... we tried to interrogate him to get more answers on who is behind all this madness... He started speaking in tongues, invoking some demonic figure to take his soul... and he gave us a warning that, even though I survived this round of battle, I would surely join him in death once I cross the borders of Arconia... the traitor is waiting for me. He said the traitor was once imprisoned by The King, but is now free, back with the King's confidence... something about being part of a rescue mission...

I demanded more information -- names, but he got black-carded and had to leave the battle ground immediately-- he must've freaked the director out. I now have a dilemma, my King and Queen. People who are after my head are behind me, and the traitor waits in front me...

I better go now, one of my scouts has returned... and I got to check weapons and do some armory work, I think one of those guys fleched into my line and bent the hell out of my favorite foil.

Gav.....what are the primary exports your country has to offer Arconia? We are in much need of foil parts.....tips....springs.....screws. I recently sent the last of our stock off to Baron Rick.
All my forces have only what they carry in person..

Rcik, I believe that once you are in our borders and under they guard of our strike force you shall be safe. If it is desirable to you you can enter the country in cognito and use the password to get into the castle.
