    Inspiring Stories?

Okay, so I'm watching TV and surfing FNet, and on TV, Inside Edition is soon going to do a story on a "limbless wrestler." I obviously don't know what's going on yet, but from the video clips they showed, his has no arms or legs below the elbow or below the knee...

    It's on now...

He had some kind of blood disease, they had to amputate all his limbs.

His record in college at Ohio (don't know exactly) his record is 36-1.

People play tricks on him in matches...and he still wins.

He trains like a beast, apparently he's on YouTube.

I just think this kind of stuff is amazing, but few people want to talk about this kind of stuff because it's not PC.

I'm going to YouTube now to find links to his training videos to post here.

Anyway, I have three comparatively mild disabilities (very mild asthma, Type 1 (insulin dependent) diabetes, and bi-polar), but to see someone succeed like that, despite obvious and awesome disabilities, still succeed, and amazingly.

So anyway, I wanted to know, what kind of stories have you seen/heard. Links? I just want to know, I think we could all use this kind of encouragement, especially in this day and age.

FDR blows all those kinds of stories away, in my mind.

Good point there, but unfortunately I wasn't alive to witness FDR's greatness.

Don't know where I was going with that, sorry if I came off as combative (I just caught up on the "Saber yelling" post in the Fencing Discussion board...apparently some of the aggression there has rubbed off...)
