First list of requirements.
1.Dress in Costume
2.Bring a date.
3.Give your name,position within the kingdom,
describe your costume.
4.Tell an Arconian joke. Make something up....you may substitute something or somebody into a contempary joke and relate it to Arconia if you
must.
5.Registration will be at the (Bitter End Pub)

Hmmm, a spell would be rather hard for me to do at the moment, as I have ridden out of town on my horse. Remember, this baby I am carrying is due any time. I must remember to let someone know where I am at the moment. I would hate to go into labor while in the woods. Hopefully this ball will go like the last two - and take at least a month or so to get going on. If so, great. I'll be there, and can help. If not, my characters will have to miss it.
May 9th - I have the AP Exam on May 10th. If it's after that, it will be a lot more doable. We also need to have time to get people back (it sounds like there's at least another battle left), get them in, get registered for the tournament, and probably have the tournament itself.
Which reminds me - We should use the ball for the awards ceremony from the tournament.
If dates are required, Nękos may well have to skip. Larya and Evan will go, and Senyik will have to scramble to find somebody.

Which brings up an interesting point:
The stated purpose of the tournament is to pick Arcon's successor on the throne.
BUT: If Arcon returns with us, then a successor isn't needed and the tournament will be thereby rendered moot.
We can still have the tournament anyway, of course, but someone will have to come up with a different prize. Nothing is more frightening than ignorance in action.
