    New-ish Allstar Fie Gear

    Hey guys,

Having a fire sale on Pre-Chinese Allstar Startex FIE Jacket and Knickers. They are in primo condition; i 'grew' laterally so I cannot fit in them anymore. It's the top of the line Allstar gear. AND I'm INCLUDING A NEW STM FIE FOIL BLADE FREE IF you buy the whole kit including the shoes.

Jacket does have name fading on the back so can be patched or whatever

Knickers has Shooting Stars and Stripes USA logo.

Gear has no stains and all velcro still sticks like its supposed to.

Sizes for Both are 50 European.

Asking $315.00 including shipping for both.

Also have a pair of the hitop Equipment Adidas shoes!!!
They've been worn like 4 times. In order to prevent a hole from the back foot dragging, I cut a piece of rubber boot sole from Vibram and glued it on. Will never come off and you will never develop a hole. Otherwise they are like brand new.

I paid $200.00 but willing to let go for $100.00

If you wish to to purchase all 3 items I will ship for free. Just send a check for $400.00

I take really good care of my gear so I think this is a fair price. All of the strap are still nice and not frayed. The velcro works great.

    PM me for address.

    Thanks,

    Fatfencer

I thought it was Uhlmann that went Chinese and Allstar stayed?

Nope, but my gear is pre-Chinese

Frankly, it would make its way to the garbage if it were Chinese make.

I don't wear that rubbish myself. Don't want to find out my Startex is Lead-tex if you get my meaning.

    FF

PS: It's a great deal folks. I hope you guys will consider buying.

I mean, I thought only one of the two companies moved their stuff to China? And I thought that was Uhlmann that moved and Allstar stayed where it was. If not, then what's the point of two different names for the same thing..?

First off, there's the simple matter of brand loyalty. At one time they were completely separate companies. Technically I believe that they still are although it would probably be more accurate to view them as two divisions of a single corporation).

Second, people often have a tendency to see differences that don't exist. For may items the only difference is red vs blue, but that doesn't keep people from favoring one over the other.

Finally, when it comes to uniforms they aren't exactly identical. Allstar uniforms have a trim, "athletic" cut. Uhlmann uniforms have a fuller cut which better fits a stockier build (or middle age spread). Two different cuts allow them to attract a broader customer base.
