-B | I believe your post showed 06 and 07 as $0.00. Or was there something else you were referring to?

So, yes, I was referring to something other than the $0.00 during 06-07. I was referring to the $10,000 during 05-06. Thought that was obvious from what I posted.
Doesn't change the reported amounts of $0.00 last season or this season (up through the February report), of course. Or that the amounts targetted (and then achieved) should be considerably above ANY of the figures that we've had historically.

-B | Sorry may have misunderstood the following: Quote:

Which agreed, is more than $0.0 but if we were describing a curve it's in the wrong direction which then bottoms out at $0.0.
My point was that Paul Levy went out and solicited the donations for Veterans events and got some $10,000+. Then when he felt that his efforts were being abused or redirected from where the donors were intending the money to go he said "screw this" and quit doing the solicitations which resulted in $0.0 being donated. All of which has resulted in his support for the alternate slate.

| I still don't quite get why Paul is supporting the alternate slate (I got his e-mail message to veterans, of course) since the nominated slate is not (as has been pointed out ad nauseam) made up of insiders nor was it nominated by insiders. I think Tracy did ask him if he'd be on the slate, though, IIRC.

But my impression is that he's had it with the same old same old and would like to try to shake things up. He's pretty adamant in his desire to support Veterans' fencing. Given his background as a judge and natural Vet tendency to be conservative he's been pretty solid in his support for change and the USFFC.

Who are these insiders which have been so successfully been avoided? I would like to avoid them in the future as well. |

| The only email I got from any veteran was from JJefferies...
Huh. I know I'm on that list, but nothing from Paul.
Oh, well. Would have been wasted on me anyway.

| About font size You don't need new software to get larger fonts -- you just need a copying machine with enlargement capability -- probably available at the venue. Or a small scanner attached to a laptop. |
