Wtf is with the tagging? And how the heck do you do it? I've tried the edit tags button, and got the grand total of sod all from that, tried the tags button and got sent to the tags cloud....
Me confuzzled.

It is supposed to make searching easier. If you go into "tags" and click on a word, it brings you to all the threads using that word.
However, that assumes a certain maturity level with the forum users. Hopefully, Craig will limit this feature to non-water cooler threads or deny access to those that cannot refrain from abusing this feature.

If you go into "edit tags" in any thread, you can associate a word with the thread. I added the word "tag" for this thread.
Now when you get the listing, and click on the word "tag" this thread will be listed.
If you hit "birthday" the Birthday thread comes up in the listing.
Only the person and the moderators can remove/edit a tag once it is listed. Beer, it's whats for dinner! ~ a young snowboarding Canadian

suspect Craig will want to rein this one in quite quickly.
guess it depends how easy it is to limit - limiting it to the thread starter might be the best way of controlling it.
edit: and if you are still having trouble adding tags just right click the edit tags link and select open in a new tab. Firefox doesn't seem to want to follow the link on a left click.

If I see a lot of abuse/unhelpful tags then I'll remove the tagging option from all but the main fencing and armory forums.
