Some people don't see it. It's visible when you use Mozilla Firefox, but I thing MS Explorer users don't see it.

Edit: I just logged in using Explorer... I'm correct.

When using IE, click on the individual's user name to bring up a menu then selecting "public information".

I don't see that either. I know that you can click on their name on their post to get to their profile, but it doesn't bring me to the profile details with their weapon, biography, ect.

I'd use FF, but my school won't let me and I somehow screwed up the registry on my computer to not allow me to run certain programs. It made all my CS3 products not work I tried a full uninstall, still won't work. I'll try the next version of FF and see if it works, same with Adobe.
