So, amidst all the craziness and argumentation surrounding this most controversial fencing year, some good has come to pass.
I'd like to take this opportunity to congratulate my coach, Oso97, and my teammate, Sabregrrrl, on the completion of their union this past Saturday at Scarborough Faire. The ceremony had its moments, and I have been personally forbidden to tell the most entertaining one but you can hear it soon from a BC platform near you... It really was a beautiful day, for a beautiful couple, and I wish them every happiness.
The best man, arc, put it best with his toast, given that he was at a wedding of fencers... as near as I can recall it:
"We have all just witnessed as [Oso] and [Sabregrrrl] have promised to love and cherish each other until their dying days, and as we are at a gathering largely comprised of fencers, I felt there was one most appropriate toast for this occassion...
... To the Last Day."
