Array What does a President and VP's do? Something I think is relevant to the election issue, and something that I'm still not particularly clear on--What exactly is it that the President and Vice Presidents do?
From the bylaws, I have a decent idea of what the Secretary and Treasurer's duties are. But they're pretty vague from the standpoint of the President and Vice President.
I guess, I'm looking for two things--1st, historically, what are the duties of the President (and VP's)? the biggest power of the President seems to be in the power of appointment and the membership on the Exec. committee. But what does she do day-to-day?
The second issue, how do the candidates see the position and do they forsee changes from how it's previously been handled?

Bump
I'll second curiosity on this one.
Plus the more general question that while grand plans and proposals are fine exactly how are the slates going to manage an introduction of new systems when there are apparently insufficient volunteers to run the old ones?
The interaction between Mr Baker and Dr Hurley on the clean election thread highlights the problem. If committees are not formed by those designated how exactly would the problem be dealt with? Similar Threads -
