Array Schlager7, I saw that your post referenced the club dynamic, but KatyFencing's replies indicated that he had presented a solution to division leadership which received no reply.
Do I understand correctly that it is only the division leadership that can cuase an alternate assignment of a weekend? Could you address in its simplest form (which I realize may still be pretty complicated) exactly what division policies are on the topic of hosting and sanctioning tournaments? Array A vague notion moves me to comment that the title of this thread is "Qualification Concerns about Candidates." "Arm yourself, Watson, there is an evil hand afoot ahead." -- Dennis Pierce, 2010 Bulwer-Lytton contest, detective fiction category runner-up. -

Your petty squabbles within your own division do not cause me to want to grant you political power on a higher level... quite the opposite, in fact.

Simply put, each club in our division gets one exclusive weekend for a tournament. All other weekends are negotiable. (Youth vs Vet/ Div 1 vs E & Under/ Foil vs epee... you get the idea).
As far as I know Augie has only just (in the last week) petitioned for the Young Elites weekend of June 21-22.
Sorry for the drift... -

-m No they don't. They don't effect your perception at all, in fact The only way to atone for being occasionally a little over-dressed is by being always absolutely over-educated. -Oscar Wilde -
Would you please get on to your homework now?

This isn't a qualification concern but wasn't sure where to ask this but just out of curiosity, if Kalle Weeks is elected president, will she still be Tournament Committee chair?

My understanding is no. She will, in her role as president, appoint a new TC Chair to be approved by the BOD.
