| RMS Web Site The new RMS web site is now up and running. It is still very much under construction and we expect it to still change much. We are now looking for feedback, ideas, etc.
We are using a content management system (DNN) so that various people will have access to interact with the site in different ways. You will notice that each division has it’s own page. The plan is to register the various division officers/web masters on our site and give them access to edit the content of their page. In that way they can maintain a connection with the rest of the section and have a place to share info that might be relevant to others in the section.
If you have photos, content, or anything else to include in the site please send it in. In particular I’m looking for photos to include in the random images displayed on the home page.
If you have ideas on other ways to use this site please let us know. One idea that I have is a page for elite or near elite athletes/parents to share info in a private way about the various issues that face this group and to make valuable contacts. This would consist of a private interactive page viewable only to those added to that group.
Please share any other ideas.
Thanks,
Bary |

| Thanks Bary the site looks great. I hope that the other divisions in the section will utilize the new website and help us end the communication issues.
Thanks again
J.

| gorgie, because you are a division officer in the Plains Texas Division, I’ve added you to that security roll. The next time you login you will have edit rights on the Plains Texas page. Please go there and play around with adding content to the modules on the page. I’ve added a standard set of modules to each of the division pages; Links, Announcements, and Text/HTML. These are just basic modules but will provide you with a start in getting the page looking the way you want. There are many other module types, so let me know if you need anything else. |

| Plains Texas Division page on RMS website I've started adding some material to the Plains Texas Division page on the RMS website. Thanks Bary for getting this new website up. It's great to see the RMS climbing out of the primeval ooze of it's past website.

| Event Planning Schedule I’ve added a new page - Event Planning Schedule. As stated on the page - This calendar is open to all registered users. Post your events or possible event dates here. The goal is to provide an area where organizers can plan their events so as to minimize possible conflicts. Multiple organizers can also work together to work out solutions for possible conflicts.
Also please report any problems you have using the web site here so I can investigate. |

| I’m looking for Division officers info for the Colorado, Wyoming, and Nebraska-South Dakota Divsions. To date all of the division officers from Arizona, New Mexico, Plains Texas, and Kansas have been registered on the new site. |

| Calendar Function.. Wow. I just posted the tenative dates for the Cliff Wilson and the Tech Open. I like this function. People can see what is planed well in advance of their tournaments. Is there a way we can get Lubbock, TX as a location in the location field. I couldn't find how to enter it. Other than that this website ROCKS! Thanks Bary!

Julie | I agree it is great but Amarillo was not on the list when I added the Crown and I'll be ready to post the Toth and Falcon in a few days could we get Air Force Academy or Colorado Springs added as well.... |

You are neither an officer or an organizer in Colorado.
You are not remotely associated with either of those events.
I would hope that both of those event organizers would have the good sense to handle their own affairs...

Julie | I would like to be able to have registered users add new locations. I'll do some checking and see if that is possible with that particular module. |
