| USFA 08: The "Old Guard" Strikes Back? This quote comes directly from a member of this year's Nominating Committee.

This is a VERY serious charge.

There are several possibilities. I will list three.
1. There is an "Old Guard" with actual powers that is hell bent on retaliating against the members of the Nominating Committee for not selecting their Manchurian candidate.
2. At least one member of the Nominating committee suffers from a form of delusional paranoia.
3. The statement is self-serving fiction.

| There are at least 4 other possibilities. But, perhaps you'll need to do more in the sport besides hang out on F.net to discover what they are...

Actually I've kind of wondered the same thing from time to time when the verbage starts flying. One suspects there is more than one "Vork" present here.
It's an old time whinge of mine, this supposed anonymity of the net/f.net. Perhaps it needs someone to apply their cyber stalking skills and post a listing of who's who perhaps with an extraction of who's on the lists. But then I think, to what purpose? Those who can compete do, those who can't... Well, I do enjoy Fencergrl and there needs to be a common meeting ground where fencers, directors and armorers can chat&rant.
Grasshopper???

Believe it or not, evisceration is tedious work.
Now, care to comment on the actual subject matter?

I'm missing something (whether or not I've correctly figured out where "Vork" comes from). Quote:

An on line warrior but when it comes to meeting face to face, "I don't wanna". On the other hand he does have the focus to continue to pillage and loot even in the real world. Quote:

My worst day fencing is much superior to my best day posting or working for that matter. If some one wants anonymity then I feel you should respect that. They probably have reasons. On the other hand I've have met kd5mdk and notalent (which is a really self deprecating tag) and dberke and others and enjoyed that. My online moto club, the Denizens of Doom, have little pins we wear so we can recognize each other at motorcycle rallies and exchange the secret handshake. Maybe we ought to do something like that for f.netters.
Ooops! forgot the smiley
Echh! and mispelled KD5MDK. Some days.
