Array Hiatus... I will be taking an indefinite break from writing in Fantasy Land.
I have several machine-tool operating manuals to write at work, and my technical muse and fiction muse don't get along very well; when one is in the room, the other one leaves!
I'll be back when I can. And I will be watching, so mind your p's and q's!
Anyone who needs lochinvar as a character in the plotline can write for him while I am gone--Tellurine, Moonitic, Dame, Zelda, Keira, Rayen (if she'd ever get her butt in here!) whoever... Nothing is more frightening than ignorance in action. -

Array "Hiatus" is a rest or break or vacation...it can mean a lot of things.
Basically it's a temporary cessation of whatever it was you were doing. Nothing is more frightening than ignorance in action. -

Array We'll miss you...Rayen's working on getting in here, but has a crapload of other stuff taking up her time. She's also not really sure of her...availability on the net, and wants to be absolutely sure before she jumps in on the writing. Array Mango, it's okay. This isn't a story, and you didn't step on anything.
In fact, I enjoyed it.
Don't stop being the whacky Mango we know and love... <img src="graemlins/jester.gif" border="0" alt="[Jester]" /> <img src="graemlins/blah.gif" border="0" alt="[Blah]" /> <img src="graemlins/freak2.gif" border="0" alt="[Freak]" /> Nothing is more frightening than ignorance in action. -

Array Sorry for not jumping in earlier, Loch. I think it's possible for me to plunge into Quest for the King now, though I may have some other time-gobbling activities to do in the near future. Sugar and Spice and Everything Knives -

Array I had something planned, myself, for my character, this week. But NO...... To make a long story short...we moved into this house 6 months ago. It's part of a huge rental subdivision...several hundred homes. The BILLIONAIRE who owns them suddenly decides to sell and has kicked all of us out in 30 days. We found out Feb. 15th, and have been scrambling to find a house. We think we found one (we'll know if it's ours tomorrow), and we are busy packing everything up. SO...I have to move yet again. If I don't say anything, or contribute in a week or two, I'm still around. Just have to get moved and settled. Ugh. Some of the residents here want to fight him, but he has the law on his side. Still, it sucks to be given 30 days notice to get up and leave. And, when you have several hundred families all needing affordable rental homes....it's very hard. I count my blessings that we seem to have found a house. Willow, Princess of Marsteria, wife of Nicholas, mother of Daphne, sorceress to Arconia. -

Array 9 weeks until I go on hiatus!
Unless, of course, my little permanent visitor decides to come a smidge early. I wouldn't complain too much!
Right now, I have 3 novels to review, so I'll be pretty busy. I'm looking for markets to sell them to (if I'm writing them, I might as well make some money). Lots going on in my writing life, which is why I've been pretty quiet here. Tellurine (naturally) has all the permission in the world to write in my place for Moon/Muck. Everyone else...ask ahead of time.
I'll be checking too. "Words are, of course, the most powerful drug used by mankind."

And if that wasn't bad enough...
This is my busy season. Shows almost everyday.
Which for an actor, that's good.
For a writer, that's bad.
No time to write during the day. Too pooped to write at night.
I'll do my best, though.
...And if that's the case... be afraid. Be VERY afraid. "You have made me laugh, you have made me cry...you have made me choke on my ice cubes." - Willow -

Array Well, I know I've sure been slacking off here. Plenty that I need to get done, but who knows when it'll actually get done, what with ACTs and SATs and schiznet like that...
