I'm looking for a fencing Salle in Paris.

..That I could possibly visit. I'd very much like to. I know there must be quite a few... I'll be there on vacation in mid-May, so if anyone has any information or could help me out, I'd appreciate it a ton

(We will be in the 3rd arrondissement of the city, if that helps.)

Also, for anyone that might possibly say I should have just checked the FIE or the FFE(I think that's what it is?) websites, I can't, because I believe that only the front page of the FIE site translates to English, and as for the FFE and the rest of the pages.... Well, I don't speak French.

Somehow, I think that this might pose a bit of a problem....

You might want to do some studying & learn some basic "fencing French".... as well as the obligatory phrases of "where is the restrooms?" and "what is that on the menu?" and "Could you repeat that in English/American, please?"

Most of the people who you are going to come in contact with are going to speak at least a bit of English. It never hurts to make the effort to learn a bit of the local tongue (and generally that effort is appreciated by the locals) but for all to many Parisians nothing you can learn quickly short of being a native speaker (native to Paris mind you) will be good enough anyway...

There are several folks on the forums that are either from the US and currently fencing in France or are French and prowl the forums. I would search them out if they don't spot this thread and PM them for their opinions.
