Array Summary Time! To catch people up, here's where the characters are. Jump in if I missed yours:
Lochinvar & Jo: Out walking (?)
Willow: Just left Moon's room
Moon: GONE (but no one knows it)
Zelda: the character is unpacking from her trip (did you happen to notice the growing crowd, your highness?)
Nicholas: Outside, dealing with troublemakers
Meekal: Arrested, along with Kliff
Angel: Outside, just had his brother arrested
I'm not sure about Arcon, Wooden Bob, or Lord Tellurine...but I am sure that Zarcon isn't too far away. Why? I'm with him. No need to save me yet...let's find out what he wants first! "Words are, of course, the most powerful drug used by mankind."
-- Rudyard Kipling -
Lord Tellurine: On a hillside overlooking the crowd, watching his handiwork.
Wooden Bob: In the crowd, wishing the tall person in front of him (A tree) moved, so he could see better.
Dr. Julius Abernathy: Back at home doing yardwork, before his wife realizes he left. He was just at the castle telling Angel that Kliff Fauldergraft was spreading the lies about King Arcon raising taxes, not knowing it was really Lord Tellurine using Kliff's name.
Steve: At the empty Bitter End
Gregory Thatch (If that's even his real name!): Riling up the crowd against King Arcon for his own nefarious means.
Nigel, Margaret, Abigail, Rufus: In Meekal's pockets.
Nani: In the kitchen, cooking.
Brother Emmanuel: Still recovering from his "floating Meekal" scare from earlier in the morning.
What I want to know is where's Lady Rosaline? "You have made me laugh, you have made me cry...you have made me choke on my ice cubes." - Willow -

Array Zelda: heading towards the front of the castle to see what all the noise is about.
Old Tim: cutting wood somewhere. Nothing is more frightening than ignorance in action. -

Array Arconians and others:
This whole experience (Arconia and fantasy writing)has been a double edge sword ....
bitter and sweet.
It all started with a thread (The Establishment of Arconia)that i figured might get a dozen posts before it died.
That was six months ago. We've had our fun, and some of us have had our misery.
What i think is most valueable from it all
IS ..........THE WRITING.....not the fantasy king or Queen or any of the characters.
It has been the collective effort of those dedicated to creativity ,imagination and the effort it takes to put together what i consider some very good story lines. Yes, some better than others but
its important to respect ever effort
for without the effort there can be no improvement.Im sure every fencing newbie hopes for the day they can hold their own with some of the best. All of us strive to be better fencers and im sure some on this board will one day be better writers.
Im not sure how long all of this will last but i can honestly say that if it all ended tomorrow ...for the most part ive had fun doing it . Its been great meeting some of you from all parts of the country and the world.
I ask you now to give some thought to what and how youve contributed to this part of the board. Think of what it has or hasnt done for you. Do you want it to continue? Do you
want it to change? Do you want it to simply go away?
Thank you sincerely for your contributions
It has been an honor to write and play (with most of you)
Sincerely yours.
Arcon (of Arconia)

Array I. . .oh I'm heading towards the queens. .no I just left the quens chambers, and am continuing to search for her. I think I plan on passing my room. (which will give me more info on everything.) Then. .I'm gonna write (if I have time. so much to do so little time.) tonight, and get everyone a refresh of where I am. Right now Wandering looking for the queen.
I love Arconia. It helps 'zen' me out. I dont think it should change. I agree with everything Arcon said as well. (as for working with everyone that is.)

Array Simply go away!? Your majesty, how could you even suggest such a thing? Nothing such as this would die easily. And I swear if I have anything to do with it, it will die standing and with its boots on.
Arconia has seen me through a tough time. It has been there to help me use my pent up frustrations/stresses. (I have shared these with some of you.) Arconia is a fairytale and fairytales ALWAYS have happy endings. And therein lies the strength of the beast. If fairytales always have happy endings then so must life itself.
So to me Arconia, in a round about way, represents hope that all things will be well again. There are messages here. We can fight our enemies and win. Good will overcome evil. There is true love and it can happen more than once in a life time.
So, Arcon, nay good sir, never suggest that Arconia can simmply go away.

Array I'm with the Dame.
If anything happens to Arconia, the REAL bad guys out there have won. They will have taken away all things precious: imagination, creativity, fantasy, and just plain fun. I don't know about anyone else, but I'm far too stubborn to let that happen. It's the stuff dreams are made of. "Words are, of course, the most powerful drug used by mankind."

Array I would hope that it stays the way it is.
It's up to Craig, of course, but it hurts no one, doesn't interfere with the rest of the site, and provides an outlet for those of us that want to try our hand at writing.
I would miss it, if it should disappear. And I hope I have made some small contribution to its continued success. Nothing is more frightening than ignorance in action. -

Array Sir Loch,
Of course you have made contributions. I quite enjoy reading your writting.
Dame, you put it so well that all I can say is I agree.

Don't ever read Goldman's re-do of "The Princess Bride". It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us the freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us the freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who gives us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who allows the protestor to burn the flag. - Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, USMC -

Array By the way - I'm in a decently sized sea-side city (say that ten times!), about halfway to Nova Zemblar. I'll spend a bunch of time there, and then either come back, or continue to Nova Servaya. If I get to Nova Servaya, I don't know if I'll come back...
I have Blade, Angelo, and Serana with me. It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us the freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us the freedom of speech. Array Sword I hated that book! I mean it was almost exactly the same as the movie which was good. Although I hated all his 'and this is where he went on about this.' I mean if he didnt like it then why would we? Anyway I just though I'd throw my 2 cents in.

Array I've read Goldman's re-do of The Princess Bride. I thought it was a great twist on the fairy tale scene. Something that I would write, even.
Now that I think of it, a friend of mine borrowed that book & hasn't returned it...I think she also has The 10th Kingdom too. Time to hunt her down! "Words are, of course, the most powerful drug used by mankind."

Array haha I saw the 10th kingdom. (neer read it.) I liked it though that was good. Get her moon get her! j/k
The main part of the book was well done. It was just his little 'authors notes' I guess you could call them. They draged on a little to long.

Array You don't want to read any of my humorous books or parodies, then...I add those little "side notes" myself. "Words are, of course, the most powerful drug used by mankind."

Array I like them as long as they dont go on about the history that will put you to sleep. I usally read the side notes, and enjoy them. Just becuase of the fact that they give you back ground on the book, or character etc. Although, if I remember correctly his was about . .well stuff that really no one understands. I guess you could say. It's really hard to explain. but if you've read the book. (which two of you so far have.) then you kind of get what I'm talking about. Moon, what do you talk about in your sdie notes?

I don't like side notes either.*
Moon - What parodies? You holding out on me?
* I remember the first time I came across a side note. It was May of '91. I was a young man on the verge of becoming a slightly older young man. I saw the side note and I said, "What are you?" It replied, "I'm a side note." I said, "What are you doing here?" It said, "Giving you additional information you may or may not be interested in knowing." I said cautiously, "But, I'm reading a cereal box. I doubt you'd provide me with any information I need to know." It understood and vanished. I ate my cereal, which was an important part of this complete breakfast.**

Array Me? Hold out on Mr. Parody himself? The writer of every parody for just about every story I've written? No way!
Oh, wait..you haven't read Ninja Pirates From Outer Space yet. It's not really done, but it's getting there. I'll have to get it done. "Words are, of course, the most powerful drug used by mankind."

Weird. I liked the side notes; they provided insight into what he was thinking, doing. It was also kind of cool, because it was a story about him woven in. Also, the history seems to suggest strongly that both Guilder and Floren were real kingdoms. It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us the freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us the freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who gives us the freedom to demonstrate.
