Array Planet of the Capes arcon. Man of God? What's that supposed to mean? He is nothing close to being a priest.

Array Arcon and the other apes took the prisoner to their lab. He was screaming and begging for his life the entire time. The first sign if his apparent sickness was his constant mutterings and talking to himself. Many years of solitude in space had not been good to this creature. His fall through the trees had nearly sliced him to pieces. It
would be a small miracle if (It) lived the night. Arcon could make out very little of his mutterings. He kept speaking of a dual universe and two Arcons. It was obvious his mind was gone. Most of these creatures were sold into slavery or put on display. This one would go in with the rejects. And (gee whizz) did
it smell!
Once a week the rejects were taken to the
stadium and killed in the Fatal Sport Games.
This one would probaly not make it.

Array I would delete this post entirely, but I can't. So instead I'll just change it to this.

Array So Swordsman, how well do you know arcon now? Maybe he's not all that he says he is.

Array Well, once again what started out as a promising, though slightly off-kilter, story line has proven to be merely a sly attempt at verbal vandalism.
Too bad. Could have turned into something worth reading. Nothing is more frightening than ignorance in action. -

Array The creature from the sky had been under the knife now for nearly 6 hours. Arcon had recieved reports from the head surgeons assistant midway through the exploratory surgery. It was not encouraging, a miniture fragment with odd looking pathways and and silver in color had been removed from the creatures brain. This was totally new to the Planet of the Cape surgeons. Maybe the creature would recover now. It was too soon to tell. It the mean time Arcon would travel to the upper valley, he wanted to meet with the elder apes. Their wisdom in the past had saved the planet from distruction. His grandfather had spoken of men from the stars in stories told to him years ago as a child. At the time Arcon thought of them as mere fables. Now, he was beginning to wonder. Time was wasteing ...it was time to ride.

Array I must apologize (again) to all, with the exception of 355. By man of God, I mean one who is religious, if not an ordained priest. Let me restate: I did not mean that comment as an attack. I was merely confused by Arcon's comment, and its contrast with other things I have been told. The public forum, however, was not the place to voice such a curiosity, though that had not occurred to me at the time.
355 - I don't know him well at all; I know only what he says and does. And I would believe that a lot sooner than I would believe anything from your mouth.
Moonitic - Again, my apologies, and I would have acted sooner had I been back on the forums sooner. Keep in mind, in case of any future transgressions, that I am not malicious, even if I am occasionally out of line. It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us the freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us the freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who gives us the freedom to demonstrate. Array Swordsman,
Thank you for the apology. Please try to remember (as everyone should), that personal issues should be disputed privately. If you have a problem with ANYone, take it to PM.
Now, let's get some good fiction written. "Words are, of course, the most powerful drug used by mankind."

Array yea, I agree with Moon and Loch. This started to look like a good story line. Come on people put that to good use. I would, but I'm not that talented in the science fiction world. I'll stick to midevil Muahhahaha j/k

Array In a totally off-the-thread topic, I've never actually written fantasy (I dabbled once or twice in high school, but nothing ever came of it). This is all new to me. In fact, I've been thinking about our earlier plans to make an official book for fantasy land. I'm not sure if that will work anymore, but Lady Moon (whether her name stays that or not) & her adventures will be making a PRINTED appearance at some point in your local bookstore.
