| Odd how they seem to be alphabetized by English spelling rather than French, though the names are in French... |

| I will step away from my "theocracy is bad" mentality for a moment to say that Israel's logo is pretty awesome.

| Some of these appear to be patches. Wouldn't sewing things onto FIE equipment compromsie the integrity of the material?

Or the way pieces of fabric are sewn together to turn them into clothing?
Adding a patch shouldn't affect the strength of the fabric. The needle will go through by pushing the threads out of the way, not by cutting them.

| I wonder if some of us could convince the FIE to let Texas have its own logo... |

You can order what you need from your fencing organization. You don't have to send your kit out to have something printed on.
Edit: I was going to link to the CFF page where you can buy the patches... so even you could pretend to be Canadian... but they've changed that part of the site.

Heck, I'm not going to be fencing internationally any time soon, maybe I'll just design one myself and get it put on. |

| Interesting that the foil on Iran's logo seems to have an illegal grip. Wonder if it's also a cunningly disguised centrifuge for enriching uranium. |

| It's an expression of frustration at being unable to disqualify all their opponents before the bout from competing, and the difficulty of procuring an 800N chador. |

The Suede (SWE) person looks seriously too skinny...

| Yeah, I really, really like the new Ireland logo.
My name _sounds_ Irish, maybe I should get one anyway. Quote:
