    Bag suggestions? Repair or replace?

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I might best repair or replace my plastic golf case?

I bought a standard plastic golf case from Dick's Sporting Goods and sometime in Chicago (probably while forcing the bag up or down some stairs), one of the wheels squished into a square wheel that looks somewhat like a wheel that belongs on Fred Flintstone's car... only smaller.

I had been looking into cloth bags because my next car will be a small car and I would very much like to find one of those small bags that will allow me to carry the bare necessities (two weapons, mask cord, and body cord) between strips at the NACs and SNs. Unfortunately, the 2-weapon bags I've found thus far are too small for two sabres. The wheeled bags I've found with these as top bags are $200 or more and rather large for the type of car I expect to be driving in the forseeable future.

The cheap solution is another $69 plastic golf case and put it in the back seat of a small car... possibly through the windows if it's too narrow.

And then there's the other problem of wanting a bag that is NOT going to cost extra for being oversized luggage.

I've do NOT want to carry a heavy bag through airports and convention centers.

a guitar bag with wheels? like this one? http://shop.fencing.net/AF_Elite_Jun.../afg-61011.htm

should easily fit two sabers etc, along with complete gear for most one weapon fencers.

    He always dresses in black
    and carries a guitar case.

    It's his style.

    But it's not a guitar.

It's a case full of weapons.

    What?

    It's not a guitar.

The case is full of weapons.

He uses them on his victims.

A golf bag is the best way to avoid the extra charges. Unless they are really tightening up, they won't want to hassle all the golfers. They don't care about the fencers.

This new 62 inch (length plus width plus height) limit will not include the majority of wheelie fencing bags.

You can get replacement wheels for thel golf bags. Of course you can get replacement wheels for wheelie fencing bags also.

Most flatted wheels happen when the bag gets stuck in a corner and the conveyer belt grinds it flat. My experience is that the wheels hold up but I have to unbend the axles after long trips.
    Whoopee! My avatar is back.

Just a heads up, if you are going for a guitar case, it won't work. They are generally too short. A bass case may work, depending on the manufacturer.
