FIE published old World Championships results

I am not sure if it was mentioned here.

I was poking around on FIE website and noticed that
World Championships results are available starting from 1956

go to http://www.fie.ch/Competitions/Calen...x?results=true
and change "Season" dropdown.

Lots of history there. Sometimes results are not full, but top placements are listed.

Winner of 1984 Olympics in Men's epee is listed as Eric Boisse. Whoops. I think he was 4 years old at the time. He's good, but not THAT good.

Pretty sure they meant Philippe Boisse.

It would be really nice to have a search function by name... kinda like FRED uses. That would REALLY facilitate such inquires!
