Array AM New York Article on Manhattan Fencing http://www.amny.com/sports/am-fencin...,5379482.story
Nice little article about my club. They mixed up foil and epee but I mean really, whats the difference? They are both not sabre so who cares? -
Mixing foil and epee is not the only mistake.
I like the line: "Sabre, ... allows hits anywhere above the torso."
I thought the only bit above the torso was the head.
The again, the fencing scholarships to the Ivy schools may be breaking news.

Array Well, I guess it depends on your viewpoint, for me it was the people, Morehouse and Rogers. For someone else, it is the club.
Apologies for the duplication. Whoopee! My avatar is back. -

No club+no Yury= Rogers maybe, but certainly no Morehouse, Lee, Smart, etc. -

Array "all the top fencers in the country"
Exaggeration! "When Fascism comes to America, it will come wrapped in the flag and bearing a cross." -

Array Err... it's not really that much of an exaggeration. Looking at the article, as it is a club focused on sabre and Morehouse is speaking, 6 out of the top 8 fencers on the US point standings train at that club. If Jason Rogers is visiting, then that means 7 out of the top 8 fencers are training at that club. Similar Threads -
