There is a Texas Optometrist who is a triple threat (F/E/S) in the V60 circle, Dr. Ray Sexton. Former Veteran World Champion in '99. I believe.

    You have piqued my curiosity.

I spent many years designing equipment for Ophthalmic surgery and knew/know quite a few Ophthalmologists.

I am wondering what sort of question would require the combined knowledge of an Ophthalmologist and fencer.

Something like " Do you think I could achieve a good lasik flap using a saber?", or "is a self closing scleral tunnel incision possible with my foil?"

    What?

Neurologist, also known as psychoneurosis or neurotic disorder, is a "catch all" term that refers to any mental imbalance that causes distress, but, unlike a psychosis or some personality disorders, does not prevent or affect rational thought. It is particularly associated with the field of psychoanalysis.

My mom is a nurse, and her friends have always been people who worked at the hospital with her. So, I've spent my whole life around people in the medical profession.

I think it's great to see that there are optometrists and neurologists and such who fence.

There is a Veteran Epee fencer from New Jersey who is an opthalmologist. PM me if you want his name.

He was an enormous reassurance to me when I was facing cataract surgery.
    Whoopee! My avatar is back.
