Array You have piqued my curiosity.
I spent many years designing equipment for Ophthalmic surgery and knew/know quite a few Ophthalmologists.
I am wondering what sort of question would require the combined knowledge of an Ophthalmologist and fencer.
Something like " Do you think I could achieve a good lasik flap using a saber?", or "is a self closing scleral tunnel incision possible with my foil?"
What? "a braggart, a rogue, a villaine that fights by the book of arithmatick. Why the dev'l came you betweene us?.." -

Array My mom is a nurse, and her friends have always been people who worked at the hospital with her. So, I've spent my whole life around people in the medical profession.
I think it's great to see that there are optometrists and neurologists and such who fence. -

Array There is a Veteran Epee fencer from New Jersey who is an opthalmologist. PM me if you want his name.
He was an enormous reassurance to me when I was facing cataract surgery. Whoopee! My avatar is back.
