Holiday Writing Contest Preps

Yeah, I have to prepare early. Such is the life of a preggo writer. I just wanted to warn you guys ahead of time about this. It could be a lot of fun, and a chance to be published.

Now thru October 31st, I'm accepting volunteers for judges (I need 3), and prize donations for the first annual "Writers Arena/Authors Links Support Network Holiday Open." The contest itself will only be open to members of these yahoogroups (a good reason to join now!), and will begin on November 23, 2001...the day after Thanksgiving. I have some pretty cool "big" prizes in mind, including publication of the top 3 finishers on www.marygibbs.com, as well as the possibility of an ebook or printed version.

Arcon, if you are asking after Steve to fill him in on the goings on in Arconia, I've already sent him a synopsis of the action from the time Fermion started down the stairs up to the present.

He says he should be back with us soon...with an explanation for his absence during all the excitement.

Iwant, you have until the day after Thanksgiving to practice your skills. That's when the contest officially opens...but you have to join one of the groups (I highly suggest Writer's Arena for someone at your current experience level) to participate.
