No bidding war for me, Stanford the Western Regionals hosts next year hired me 3 weeks ago at NCAA championships. Not a tough choice really 1 day @ 300 bucks or so or 4 days @ 65/85 ( 85 if I'm lucky enough to get a 3). Assuming ofcourse I'm alive and healthy enough to do it.

What it would screw with is the various conference end-of-season pre-regional championships that many schools participate in. This means that the conferences will have a choice between scheduling on top of a NAC or discarding a regular season weekend.

It would appear that in the past, they have tried to do it between regionals & NCAA champs. The next two years they are doing it before regionals. Anyone know why?

I suspect if there was a Southwest Regionals I'd probably be becoming a regular at it. But...
