| Sports Illustrated: Welcome to the Vault Sports Illustrated recently created a site that includes all their covers, articles, videos and photos from the past 54 years. SI Vault
Some neat fencing articles in there... just put "fencing" in the search engine.
I really enjoyed some of the older articles.
Enjoy.

| Holy cow.
I was having such a good time with the articles that missed the 1000+ fencing videos collected from around the web.
I really was just looking at the site for the articles. I swear.

| I clicked on covers after searching for fencing and there was a cover from 1955 showing Louise Dyer. But I couldn't get over the mask she was wearing, wouldn't be allowed in the room now. I was fencing at the same U Penn salle where Louise and her husband, Dick Dyer, were preparing for the 1956 Olympics. I remember fencing against Dick who unfortunately has passed away.

Dick and Louise were active artists later in life and I met them though the art center I worked for. I was always Fencer Girl - I'm not certain Louise ever learned my name. They were a wonderful couple and told terrific stories about fencing and the Olympics - I was very sad when they died.
