Either that or Sam Neill, Omen; Rene Roch, Satan. |

| I'd just like to clarify, for my own sake, that I'm not against the concept of entrance music, especially during the finals.
I put the wrestling music in because that's what I would honestly want to use.

The Junior World Cup in Dormagen, Germany uses what the organizers appear to consider themed music (roughly targetted for nationality) for each of the finalist intros. Can be interesting hearing what they select for each country. Does make one wonder if they take suggestions (assuming one can provide the music in an appropriate format).

| yea, at high school foil states, we blasted techno when we got there, when everyone eas changing/warming up. It was pretty awesome- we played the pokemon theme, and the pokemon rap along with some sweet techno. We had some people just dance that were from other schools, it was pretty cool
no one told us to turn it off which was cool, not like it was interfering w/ anything |

| Unless you want to attract the same demographic that like pro wrestling, taking your promotional strategies from them is probably not the best idea.

no one told us to turn it off which was cool, not like it was interfering w/ anything | lol i remember that was me and my team (the 3 of us...) dancing i think! but it was awesome.
on a slight thread jack - would a ref be annoyed if a team brought a laugh track/pre-recorded-cheering track? cuz its hard for 2 people to outcheer a whole other team of 15 or so
back on track...i do agree that its stupid for pools or if you will get your butt kicked, but go for it in higher level DEs!

| ok. So I've been to numerous world cups, and at just about every one of them (except maybe 1 or 2), they play music for warm up in the morning, between pools and DEs, and before and between the finals. I'm not sure about the personal "boom box", but I think it should be done on the large scale, because warm-up with music is much easier(at least for me). |

That said, if you do in an early round (in the round of 16 or before, that is), you WILL look like a tool. I don't mind the fencers putting on a show in the finals, because the organizers should be. Since they're falling down on the job, why not let the fencers pick up the slack?

Of course, this might be construed as more amusing than inspirational. But anyway.

| And all will be well, even if it's disrupting other strips, because referees must never, ever criticize or rebuke each other publicly...
