My "Other moment" - I had a referee run her thumb across my guard checking for the depth of a visible dent in order to render a decision on the likelihood of a tip catching there.

This was on a weapon that was bought new that morning, but I do not recall if the dent was noticed while pools were still proceeding, or if it was my first DE.
