    Soundtracks

Moonitic mentioned all the screenplay fantasies she (And I think many of us here) has had. Even, she said, so far as a soundtrack.

Now, I think that one soundtrack for all of Arconia would be near impossible - it's just too broad a spectrum. We'd have to have classical, ska, punk, heavy metal, some jazz...everything. (For those unfamiliar with any of these genres: Mozart, Five Iron Frenzy, Blink 182, Metallica, Dave Brubreck)

So - what is your character's soundtrack? At least a theme song, a song (with lyrics, preferably) that fits them perfectly. And if the title doesn't say it, then post the lyrics, by way of explanation.

Senyik, as I've already said, is "Wherever I May Roam", by Metallica.

Nękos has several. POD's "Youth of the Nation", speaks of inner city life - much how Nękos grew up. Linkin Park, "In the End": "I put my trust in you, pushed as far as I could go, but for all this, there's only one thing you should know - I tried so hard, and got so far, but in the end, it doesn't even matter." Creed, "What If": "What if you did, what if you lied? What if I avenge, what if eye for an eye?" Metallica, "I Disappear": "Just as soon as I am known, then it's time I disappear." Also Linkin Park, "By Myself": "Don't you KNOW, I can't tell you how to make it GO, no matter what I do how hard I TRY, I can't seem to convince myself WHY I'm stuck on the outside." Staind, "Outside": "I'm on the outside, I'm looking in. I can see through you, see your true colors. 'Cause inside you're ugly, ugly like me, I can see through you, see the real you..." And finally, thinking about Serana; Zao, "To Think of You is to Treasure An Absent Memory". I think the title covers it.
It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us the freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us the freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who gives us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who allows the protestor to burn the flag. - Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, USMC

    Hmm...Interesting...Character-based soundtracks...

One that I KNOW would have to be on Ken-Dall's track would be Man Smart, Woman Smarter (Harry Belafonte).

    Now, on to Moon.

    1. You Don't Know Me, by Jann Arden
    2. I'll Never Fall in Love Again, by Mary C. Carpenter
    3. Happy Ending (from The Pirate Movie)
    4. Glory of Love, by Peter Cetera

Gimme time, I can think of more...lol

Willow would also have several songs. Among them would be:

    1. "Goonies R Good Enough"
    2. "No Matter What" from Andrew Lloyd Weber
    3. "One True Friend" by Bette Midler

There are more, but I'll have to post them later.

The first thing that popped into my head when thinking about the Queen was the song
"These Days" by Aussie popstars group Bardot, and "High"by the Lighthouse Family. Its the chorus of these days that I like
    "these days go on
    long after you've gone
    these days go on
    long after you've gone
these days go on and on..."
Theses are evil....VERY evil, someone rescue me pls!

    Linkin Park-in the end,
    Staind-outside,
    incubus-the warmth,
    Wagner-ride of the valkyries,
    Default-live a lie,
    Linkin Park-Krwling (crawling remix)

in that order.. i was going to do something by trans-siberian orchestra.. but i really couldn't find one that would have worked.. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />

    (note to Naekos)

Looks like we have about the same taste in music.. good songs all of them though. if you don't have the new linkin park cd, GET it... it's REALLY good! reanamation (sp) is the CD title..

    (end note to Naekos)

Interesting! I like the idea; soundtracks for individuals . To tell you the truth, I'd never actually thought about this before. Let's see if I can think think any up for my self...:

    "Good Riddance" by Green Day
    "Surround" by American Hi Fi
    "Now" by Def Leppard
"The Middle" by Jimmy Eat World
"Seein' in Red" by Unwritten Law

There are more, I am sure, but I can't think of them at the moment.

NOOO!! Reanimation sucks!! Hybrid Theory was cool, but Reanimation sucks!! Other than that, I think we're agreed. Creed, while it doesn't fit with Nękos, is my absolute favorite band.

Rayen's are all instrumental. Go figure. A classical musician picking all classical pieces. :P

    1. Faith's End - Christophe Beck
    2. The Battle of Stirling - Braveheart Soundtrack
    3. Concierto de Aranjuez (Adagio) - Joaquin Rodrigo
    4. One Last Look - Christophe Beck

And for when she's in a good mood and feeling happy-go-lucky:

    5. Midway March - John Williams

Don't ask, Fencing Angel. He'll go on for hours, and if you try to tell him WHY the song doesn't suck, he'll argue until you agree. Just a heads-up.

    For Crin:

    Fenix TX - Ben
Untitled Guitar Piece written by my friend Tory
    Beatles - Eleanor Rigby
Toad the Wet Sprocket - Fall from Heaven
    Live - The Dolphin's Cry
    Finch - Three Simple Words
    Nora - Writer's Block

Meld them all together and it's complex, fun fun. Just shows you what a strange taste in music I have.
