Array Where's the armor 2? I'm looking around the fencing.net shop trying to order a new glove and can't find the one I want.
I've been using one of the original armor-1 gloves for the last few years which I bought at the fencing.net booth at summer nationals at least 2 years ago.
Anyways, as I look thru the fencing.net shop the only incarnation of the new version of this glove, the armor 2, that I can find, is the all black coaches glove. Needless to say this is not really what I'm looking for. Can anyone direct me to where I can order a new armor 2 glove, preferably with choice of color? Thanks. Array *ahem* Y'know...the designer IS on line here!!
What size and hand are you looking for? I may have it in stock. Probably will be green, tho. -

Array Ooh... I want one too!
my only concern is that my coach has one(may be an old Armor 1) and it hasn't held up well to epee fencing.
And Green > Blue or red or pink anyday. "When Fascism comes to America, it will come wrapped in the flag and bearing a cross." -

Since when is it even close to appropriate for a supplier to scoop their retail agents? Even if you don't have a specific contract, it still stinks.
Craig, please put an end to this crap.
This sort of thing deserves a ban..... or...... a fee......
See how I identified a problem, and then provided a solution?
Craig, either crack the whip on this nonsense or please explain why it's ok. Take your time. Read carefully. -

Oh please....I refer people to Craig all the time....and as the OP didn't even SEE the glove on F.Net's site, I'm just answering the guy's question re whee else he can find one....you're getting your knickers in a twist over ONE glove. -

This is what puzzles me; it only took me two seconds (slow connection...) to find them on f.net shop... how come the OP can't find them after LOOKING THROUGH f.net shop? It is a REALLY simple two seconds looking around... Originally Posted by whtouche I'm looking around the fencing.net shop trying to order a new glove and can't find the one I want.

Take a tape measure and go all the way around your hand, NOT including the thumb. Round up to the nearest half inch, and there's your size.
However, if you have long fingers, you may need to go up a size or so. -

Since the question was asked and Fencing.Net does carry the product in question, the appropriate response is to show where on the fencing.net shop these are (thus supporting retail channels and encouraging more sales - the term we used was "avoiding channel conflict") Armor 2 Blue Glove Armor 2 Pink Glove
My guess is that the search was made for "Armor 2" and not "Armor Two" as is on the catalog page. I'll add that in as a search term for the product.

Anybody ever think about making glove for people with long skinny fingers?

Craig My apologies, then....I thought you were just real low on inventory. -

Array What I did was click the "Fencing Equipment" link above, click clothing, then gloves, and on that page I didn't see anything other than the black coaches version.
I also agree that green is superior to blue and pink, and with apologies to craig and fencing.net I would now like to inquire as to where I would be able to procure one in a color that wouldn't make me feel foolish (IE green )
Luckily the sizing tag on my current glove hasn't faded Too badly, and I can still tell it is a 10.5 "Their interpretation is, however, refuted most elegantly by your system of radioactive atom + amplifier + charge of gun powder + cat in a box"

There were a couple of additional categories under that "gloves" main category. Good usability feedback. Thanks. -

Don't be silly. Actually, no....clicking on the gloves only link only brings up the black glove...I didn't realize you had to click on the foil/epee link to see the other colors.
In addition, Craig is working on a new order from me, so the presumption this he was low on inventory is logical..
And I am a VERY honest vendor....I don't play games with my clientele. Similar Threads -
