The Journey home(after the battle)

Arcons head was pounding......so much of the first nite was a blurrrrrrrrrr....there was no containing Meekel. The last thing he remembered before passing out was Meekel juggling his rocks....one of them got way out of line.. and to catch it Meekel had to step dangerously close to the campfire . It was fortunate that Moon and Angel were close enough to quickly roll Meekel on the ground and put him out.

What else happened that nite gang? My memory fails me this morning.( way to much to drink).

One hung over King, Arcon

Lady Moon was NOT happy. After telling her tale, she retreated to the far edge of the group...alone. Not only was her best friend having a child, she was getting married. Lady Moon felt that their friendship would slip away. It had always been the two of them, but not anymore.

Fear, anger and sadness ate at her heart. And this problem with Meekal was not making her life any easier.

"Moon?" a voice said tentitively from behind. "Can I ask you something?"

She sighed. "Now is not a good time, Meekal."

"But..."

"No." The cut of her voice surprised her...but not really. Defeated, Meekal walked away. She was alone again...the way she wanted to be.

I know what the Queen did. She contemplated apparating BACK to the castle for a hot bath and a massage. But she decided she had better not, especially with the King nearby.
I had noticed Moontic moving away from the fire and Meekal being turned away after approaching her. I cautiously approached Moontic, and just sat silently beside her. Waiting......
