| Do Tournament Organizers Check if Fencer's Ratings are Real? Alright, this is something that has been bothering me.
I just finished my last year fencing in highschool.
Many of the tournament organizers for our HS invites would use AskFRED.
The problem is that they didn't make the events no rating, and the conference is not USFA. I have seen that some of the fencers in my conference have been using the fake ratings they have earned in the conference invites when they register for outside, USFA, tournaments....
Please tell me that the organizers found out that these ratings were fake?

| I haven't really noticed any of this, however Askfred automatically updates your rating if it sees results that say you got a new rating. It could easily be someone registering for another tournament without realizing it changed. |

Up next in FRED development:
1. A "USFA sanctioned: Yes or no?" box in event setup.
2. Division oversight accounts for division officers to take care of sanctioning tournaments, verifying results, and certifying ratings.

| Thanks for all the good things FRED gives us... Dear Peet,
I know that there are often issues raised about potential misuse of FRED, however, I remember having to contact every club individually and review every division web site (and hope they were up to date) to try and put together a tournament schedule. All of your efforts and the FRED site is a wonderful tool and very appreciated.
Now if you're looking to make enhancments, I'd love a feature called "my events" or "events I am watching" - similar to ebay so that I could flag specific events that I want to keep an eye on either for registration or results. Since I am often searching through at least three different divisions, so it would be great to only have to view the events that I have a specific interest in. Just a thought.... |

The other nice feature would be "My favorite searches", so that one could run a search for upcoming events with one click without filling out all the relevant filtering criteria every time.

| My problem is that I'm interested in tournaments in multiple Sections, and it's a bit of a pain to go back and forth between those filters to see what's newly come up. |

The search criteria are contained within the URL and the search will be freshly run when you visit the bookmark. |
