Array Meanwhile, Back at the Castle with Arcon... King Arcon sat alone. He was NOT happy about it either. Not only did he miss his queen , but so did he miss his scribe, her sorceress friend, half the royal guards, & most of his knights.
How did things get so crazy for them all to be gone? He stood & paced. "If I go after them, there would be no one here to protect the castle. But they could probably use my help. And where is Angel? And Serana? And Roseline? And James? And...aw...heck!" He flopped back into his well cushioned chair. "How are we supposed to plan a ball like this? Even Mango is missing. Man, this castle has a lot of rooms to redecorate!"
It must be yet another FS evil plot.
"Maybe I'll go visit Jo in the tower. She should be good for a laugh by now." He rose and walked toward the door, not knowing that Jo, too, had vacated the castle... "Words are, of course, the most powerful drug used by mankind."

Array To pass the time Arcon decided he'd do some shadow fencing........but to his dismay found that his shadow had also vacated the Castle.
Was he desperate enough to go down to the Castle Bowling Alley ?......naaaaaaaaaaa nothing could be that bad.
He just wandered across the castle yard ....cut his toe on a pop top and had to go back home.......i guess ill just waste away in Arconiaville.........hmmmmmmmm
could be worse,, glad i dont live in a

Array Arcon was in no mood to go back to that lonely, empty castle. So, he decided to go have dinner at the pub. After all, where else can you get a Fresca and a Snack Pack? Entering the pub, everyone looked up and yelled, "ARCON!" Pleased that someone was glad to see him, he went, ate a leisurely dinner, and then played darts. This time, he didn't get drunk and hurt anyone. Willow, Princess of Marsteria, wife of Nicholas, mother of Daphne, sorceress to Arconia. -

Array Just before he threw his last dart of the game, he realized something. The Queen had indicated that Jo was LOCKED in the tower. How then, would she get out? Sensing that foul play was involved, he threw the dart without looking. Thankfully, Wooden Bob had a leg of the strongest oak. The tip embedded itself neatly above where the knee should have been. "Sorry Bob! There's trouble."
"What else is new?" Wooden Bob muttered. He pulled the dart from his leg & set it on the bar. "Words are, of course, the most powerful drug used by mankind."

Array It was a good thing that Arcon had not started drinking...because he never would have realized that something was very wrong.
How did Jo get out.....with everyone gone how could it be she was gone.
How could he make this horse go any faster?
He would go back check the tower again....maybe there would be an indication of fowl play if there had been any.....
Well he quietly said to himself he'd never complain of boredom again.. Was Jo safe? had she been kidnapped? Was it the evil Fencingsuck empire up to their old tricks?
Moon was still gone .....how he needed her and Willow.......a couple of Knights....for the first time he felt just a little desperation... he felt alone. If anything had happened to jo he'd never forgive himself.
It was about that time he reached the tower...quickly he tied his horse to a small willow tree. Like a mad man up the tower steps he ran......."out of shape, again"
he'd really let himself go since the great touni in the "land of the dimming lights".
He'd have to do something about that just as soon as this mess was resolved.
As he entered the tower chambers he noticed the door was open. He HAD locked it when he left........quickly he looked around for a sign a clue ....anything......then he spotted it.....almost under the bed....it was just a small sparkle from the evening rays of sunlight...had it not been for the angle of light he never would have seen it.
The locket jo wore around her neck (given to her by her secret lover)....she never went anywhere without it......oh my god! she never would have willingly removed it. Arcon picked up the locket with a grim look upon his face.......he slowly followed the locket chain to the end......the chain was broken.......He looked out the tower window as his eyes slowly watered......
Jo was gone.......and he had no idea where to start looking......
