I don't know, but I heard second-hand that they might attach something.

Although that weekend itself is busy, with the SDFC RYC and the Okawa Open occurring, the competition might be spread thin. I plan to go to the Okawa Open for sabre on Sunday and help out at the SDFC RYC on Saturday. But who knows?

Below is an excerpt of a message sent out from the organizer back in Feb:

This year, we will be in the East Field House instead of the West Field House, which is under repair. Maybe they are taking a look at the electrical system... The East gym is somewhat smaller than the West, so we've made a few changes to the schedule to ensure that events run smoothly and start on time. We dropped the women's and vet's sabre events due to low signups last year, and we will be holding the open sabre only if we get enough directors for the expected number of fencers. We have also modified the schedule to put the largest events first so they do not end up waiting for strips (the bad news is that you need to get up early if you're in the open foil or epee!).
