Array I'm VERY Confused With all due respect, Arcon, some of us are a little confused at the newest posts. The rescue party has yet to make it to shore (last post in Journey Home ends with "Land Ho!"), yet people know that you are alive? How? And how do YOU know about the tournament?
I'd say it is a little premature. Abrupt, at best. If we ARE home, then I need to know. There's a twin sister that needs her come-uppance, a handsome stranger that needs his heart dashed (maybe). And what of Lady Moon & Meekal? The party's return home is important to the flow of a lot of characters. It needs to be resolved. "Words are, of course, the most powerful drug used by mankind."

Array Yes, we will resolve the situation...............I got confused......and thought everyone
was home(Arconia). I searched for the post that would prove it.......but didnt find it
I seriously thought I was simply over looking the fact that it was there.
We can resolve this by me editing my post and then maybe one of us that is most
familiar with the present story lines can do an update thread.
Im sorry for the confusion.......ive been in a coma........in fastasy.....and now
i feel like im in one in real life.....ha ha.

Array Ok, now you two are confusing me. See I thought it would take us roughly another day to get back to land, and then about three days to get to Arconia. And I thought it was Moon that wrote 'land ho' Maybe I just need more sleep

Array Moon or Tellurine.....im requesting that one of you pm me with a rundown on
the plot senerio that you have in mind here. It would be a good thing if we
coordinate this thing as we all come together. I plan on getting back in the loop
here on my return and have some of my on plans to consider.
If the plot calls for a New King BEFORE i return then I do plan to write myself in
before this happens......this IS fantasy after all.
Lord Tellurine ive been in touch with you about getting back.........so you
need to work with me. I guess i could create a river that flows backwards and
white water back if i have to.

Array Tellurine is a performer. He's got a pretty busy schedule (same as myself). Please remember that this is summer, & there's not enough time to do everything.
Anyway, also remember that on a ship, particularly one that is up in the air, one can see for miles. A call of "Land Ho!" doesn't necessarily mean they'll reach land that day (it also depends on the time of day, current, etc.). But...two days have already passed.
I honestly don't have a plot in mind, since I wasn't the originator of this part of the story. It would be more dramatic for the king to arrive in the middle of the final bout, though. What a crazy time THAT would be!
Time for two lessons in writing:
1. Tie up loose ends-We've seen what confusion it brings if we don't!-before moving on
2. Remember the CLIMAX-the most exciting part of the story, when everything comes to a head.
The return of the king will also be when Lady Moon confronts her sister, & when Darion learns the truth about Ken-Dall. Done right, it will be a wild time. "Words are, of course, the most powerful drug used by mankind."
