Yet another small rules question

I have not yet comprehended how to search the rulebook, so here goes...

Am I allowed to use a piece of tape to hold in my bodycord at a NAC?

Foil, btw, if that matters.

Yes, you can use almost anything you can think of. Even, as Mr. Dechaine would say, a garter belt.

As long as it doesn't add additional coverage of target. I can't for example get one of those dog-don't-bite-own-ass collars and strap it around my arm to hold the body cord onto the socket and claim it's a "fancy garter belt my gf wears" or "it's the new-new Uhlmann body cord restraint".

The plug has to be secure in the socket; it doesn't have to be stylish.

(At a regional event once I pulled a small piece of electrical tape off the end of the strip [excess material] to use when my clip fell off. I got a raised eyebrow from the ref when he checked, but it got the job done.)

I once used a rubberband after my retaining clip broke during a competition

Pipe cleaners and twisted wire have also been used.

Open the PDF. Press CTRL-F on a PC, or Command-F on a Mac.*
