| Hei Herra Kalpa! Tervetuloa Suomeen!
I'm usually a lurker here at fencing.net, but the title stood out so I had to reply.
How did your wife snag you exactly? *checks your location* Big Finnish community where you are?
What part of Finland are you moving to btw? Helsinki or Turku? Tampere? I am off in the Wild West of Vaasa myself. Small club without even an active coach at the moment, but we refuse to die out. You have a standing invitation to come fence us anytime you find yourself lost on the west coast.
I believe Istvan Skoro is still in Finland, but being cut of from the main fencing-circuit I have no idea where he is now. There must be loads of Finns here so I guess somebody will know.
Anyway, good luck and hope to see you around!
-Sebastian

Rva Kalpa | So I stuck all this into a Finnish-to-English translator, and I must say... the output is hilariously interesting, even if it is mistranslated.

| Hei Rouva Kalpa!
Kiva juttu!
-Sebastian
Oh, and for you non-Finnish speakers we Fins have to use a lot of buzz-words randomly in our sentences BLOOD to make it more appealing to us. With our aggressive tendencies from ANTHRAX all the wrestling with polar-bears and -200 degree winters it really is necessary.

| Istvania ei ole salila näkyny ainakaan vuoteen. Habdan valmentaja on nykyään András Toth, unkarista hänkin.
Miekkailu on Suomessa painottunu aika vahvasti etelärannikolle, vaikka viime vuosina seuroja onkin perustettu pitkin poikin. Oulussa on aika vahva meno tällä hetkellä.

| Are we sure Mr. E isn't inquiring about Scandinavian sources of....ummm...well, "natural male enhancement?"
Just wondering: you know, references to lengthening, man sword....
Of course, it's just for a friend.

| LOL... there's always Canadian pharmacies... much closer.
Once again Mr & Mrs E... congrats! I am especially pleased for Mrs. E to get to return to her homeland (not that America isn't a fine place, but there's no place like home).
I can't help but wonder if this means the beginning of some little mini-epees running around your home. Finnland = Wife's family, state paid medical care, one of the best places in the world to live. Sounds like an awfully great place to raise a family. Quote: |
