Even though I mostly don't post here, I have a lot of respect for all of the people on this fantasy land thing. I for once would hate to see it going, because I like to see people's creativity being challenged.

And believe it or not, I think any fantasy land has to have their nemesis. I mean, come on, it ain't fun to be in a place where everything is perfect. There has to be a little of action. Otherwise, why would there even be knights in Arconia? To defend the ladies from whom?

I think that for the most part, most of the offending posts have either been removed by them or by someone, or edited by them (I did not even get a chance to read them, too bad )

I'd say keep these guys: they contribute to the creativity of everyone by having an "enemy" to direct attacks to. I'm sure in the future they will either cool down or just stop posting. You guys seem to be a close knit community and I don't think that this will ruin the arconians creativity or experience, on the contrary, it might even spice up a little life in arconia. I mean, after all the balls, quests, etc. What do you want to do? Sleep? Sleep is for the weak, and unless you throw some other party, there is nothing much else to do than go fencingsucks bashing!

I totaly agree with every one here.. i will also join the ranks of persons that want a moderator.. i think that we need on here.. if it's not craig.. i think that we should chose one by vote.. that way we all get the person we want.... anyway just my two cents.

A valid point...after all, it's been said many times that darkness gives meaning to the light.

However, it's one thing to write your character as the bad guy in a fantasy story; anyone who's been involved in a creative genre writing club has done that. I know I have. it's vastly different to attempt to disrupt the creativity of the others just 'cause that's how you get your jollies.

If GW were to write a properly executed bad guy - working within the bounds of the established story arcs and not just slamming characters like he did one time - it'd be acceptable. However, writing a vile rape/torture scenario just to disrupt the board isn't kosher at all. THAT's what people are complaining about.

Your point is well taken. But we do perfectly well by making up our own villians when we need them. Usually the petty arguments with our so called nemisis takes us away from the writing we are so fond of.
Yes I did write one of the buggers into my story, but that was because he refused to leave well enough alone. Now he "belongs" to me whether he likes it or not. Now, should he decice to change his evil ways I will more than gladly release him from the pages of fantasy.
One more thing, we ladies really do not need the men to defend us. We are perfectly capable of defending ourselves.

Like i said before, im usually the one attacked by these people in question so if im involved id rather there be a panel of at least 3. Zelda and I have talked about it and we came up with three candidates, Zelda, Steve and myself. Contrary to what one person believes im not real keen on the idea of being a moderator. I rather like the position i have its enough believe me....and yes i do enjoy it even though its in a
fantasy kingdom.
Im not sure where these so called facts on me come from but ill say this much...its pure desperate speculation and ill just consider the source.

Veeco, it wasn't an intrusion at all. Just as long as you know where we're coming from. I don't mind having a nemesis, there are a lot of jerks in this world that I'd like to kill off in a story, but when someone purposely tries to disrupt (out of the context of the game) & END something that is not harming anyone...I get mad. Ya know? It's kind of like trying to watch a movie, but the people in front of you are talking loudly...TRYING to disrupt your enjoyable experience.

I join the ranks as well! I vote Arcon Zelda or Fencing Angel for people within the site. They seem to be the top people here. (King and Queen and head knight.) Veeco no intrution at all. Oh and it should be just the minors who are shall we say "sheltered" it should be everyone. No one should have to deal with things and people like that! There I've given My two cents.
