    Greetings from Tijuana, Mexico!

Hello everyone, I'm Jay from Tijuana, Mexico.

Just a quick hello to keep things short, I've been fencing for a few weeks, and my first event I'll participate in is the "San Diego Division 3-Weapon Open" (http://askfred.net/Events/whoIsComin...nament_id=4676), and I train in the CREA facility in Tijuana.

    Bright Blessings!

    Welcome!

What weapon do you fence, Jay?

Epee apparently. Welcome to the forum. Don't let us Californians scare you off. Our bark is worse than our bite...(generally).

    Thanks!

Thank you for the welcome everyone!

I mostly do Epee for competition, but train in foil as well, seems to me that learning foil then getting into epee is better, you learn the foil techniques, then use them with the epee (but in any part of the body), and it's working for me so far...

I tried sabre, but it's too "swashbuckly" for me still, I'll get on that later, it does not convince me yet.
